Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the course content?

The course is divided into many lessons covering the basics of Creo Parametric. Each day a certain amount of lessons are presented and exercises based on information in the lessons are performed. Successful completion of the course should equip you to accomplish the tasks covered by the lessons on your own.

  • What is the course description?

This self-paced course is a shorter version of the live virtual course, designed for users already comfortable with the concept of 3D-CAD from using other CAD software. The course is designed to make users become proficient with Creo Parametric as quickly as possible. In this course, you will focus on learning core-modeling skills. Topics include sketching, part modeling, assemblies, drawings, and basic model management techniques. The course also includes a design project that enables you to practice your new skills by creating realistic parts, assemblies, and drawings. After completing the course you will be well prepared to work effectively on product design projects using Creo Parametric.

  • How much time do I have to learn the course?

It's good for 2 years from the registration day.

  • Will there be live assistance?

Yes, there are monthly office hours that you can participate with our instructors. We highly recommend you sign up for the live, virtual classes. Nothing beats live interaction.

  • Do I need to have a 3D printer?

No. We recommend uploading the STL files to Shapeways.com.

Course Disciplines

  • 3D CAD Modeling

Using the industry-standard software Creo Parametric, students will build their skills out from foundational 3D shapes to advanced assemblies.

  • 3D Printing

Bringing objects out of the computer screen and into the real world, 3D printing can transform an idea into a physical product.

  • Circuits & Coding

Students will use powerful text-based coding and interactive simulation to learn Arduino circuits.
